Includes memories of Elvira Henry by Miss Susan Dabney, great-granddaughter of Elvira and John Henry, and great, great-granddaughter of Patrick Henry. Elvira Henry lived her entire married life at Red Hill. Includes recipes for weights and measures of the 19th century and such recipes as Green Sweetmeats, Peach Pickle, and Oil Mangos.
