Special Support Opportunities
Edith Poindexter Collections Fund
Recognizing the dedication and passion for Patrick Henry and Red Hill of the longtime curator and volunteer, Edith Poindexter, the Foundation has created the Edith Poindexter Collections Fund in her honor. Contributions to the Fund go toward acquisitions, conservation, and preservation of Patrick Henry’s Red Hill’s collection of artifacts.
Gene Dixon Trail Fund
Gene Dixon served Red Hill for over 30 years as both a board member and a friend to the Foundation. We have fond memories of his frequent visits to quietly walk the grounds with his beloved dogs. Gene was a true leader and an avid outdoorsman. His legacy lives on through the creation of the Gene Dixon Trail, a mile-and-a-half, down and back trail through the woods along the east side of the historic area. Contributions to the Fund go toward maintaining Red Hill’s trail system, land conservation, and groundskeeping.
