Join stargazer Josh Urban and Patrick Henry’s Red Hill staff for a fun-filled evening of stargazing and story-telling centering around astronomy and the nation’s history.
This event will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Education Center at Red Hill. Telescopes will be available for viewing the night sky or bring your own! The evening may even include some banjo and violin playing by Josh and direct Patrick Henry descendant, Patrick Jolly!
This is a rain-or-shine event. If the weather is poor for stargazing, an indoor program will be held, which will include story-telling about the night sky and Patrick Henry’s role in the founding of the nation. This is a family-friendly event. All ages are welcome!
