Hiya, I’m Sarah! I’m glad to be back home in Virginia and excited to join Red Hill’s Visitor Center team. A Lynchburg native with family roots in Brookneal, I grew up canoeing the Staunton River, exploring the countryside, and spending many summer days swimming at the Brookneal pool with my grandparents.
After moving to New York City in 2010, I served with AmeriCorps before building a career in commercial theater, advancing into theatrical management, ticketing, and revenue management. I supported more than 30 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including Dear Evan Hansen, Fun Home, Kimberly Akimbo, Beetlejuice, The Music Man, & Juliet, and GYPSY.
I’m grateful to return home and bring my experience and passion for meaningful cultural experiences to Red Hill. It feels like a true full-circle moment, and I’m excited for this next chapter!
