My name is Lucia Butler, and I’m the Operations Administrative Assistant here at Red Hill. I grew up in Arizona but have lived in Virginia for several years now, and I’m a 2020 graduate of the College of William & Mary. I majored in Anthropology and ended up falling in love with archaeology after my experiences in the field and lab introduced me to the excitement of learning about human history through objects and sites. This interest led me to join the team at Red Hill in 2021, where I am thrilled to be able to learn about and introduce visitors to the site’s rich history. You can find me in the Visitor Center, where I handle gift shop sales, work with our collections, and help orient guests to Red Hill and Patrick Henry’s life. In my free time, I love reading, baking, and hiking.
