Hi! My name is Takisha Fowlkes and I am the Director of Community Engagement and Programming. I was born and raised in Virginia. I am a graduate of Southside Virginia Community College where I studied Business Administration and later went on to study at Liberty University and hold a B.S. in Strategic Communications.
My past work experiences include but are not limited to phlebotomy, nursing, pharmacy technician, customer service, and business. I also had the honor of working for SVCC as the Education Support Specialist for Admissions. I am one of the latest additions to the Red Hill family and I am enjoying my new role and the people that I have the pleasure to work alongside. Like, Patrick Henry, I am a personable person, I love people and I enjoy helping and supporting my community every chance that I get.
In my spare time I love traveling, spending time with family, reading, writing, and listening to music. I am a movie buff so that is what you’ll find me doing the majority of the time on a relaxing day. I also love to inspire, encourage, motivate, and uplift others to elevate their life through various channels whether that is through my coaching blog, online courses, or private conversations.
Please feel free to reach out to learn more about the wonderful things we are doing to keep the memory, life, and legacy of Patrick Henry alive here at Red Hill. You will not be sorry you did!
