My name is Luke Dixon, and I am a Visitor Center Associate at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill. I am originally from York, Pennsylvania, but I came to Virginia in 2015 to study history at Liberty University. I graduated with a B.S. in History in 2019 and continued my studies at Liberty to pursue an M.A. in History, which I received in 2021. Before coming to Red Hill, I worked as a Park Ranger at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park for three seasons, and I completed internships with Gettysburg National Military Park and the National Mall and Memorial Parks. I am a new member of the staff at Red Hill, and I am excited to connect with you at the Visitor Center through the story of Patrick Henry and the history of this meaningful place. Outside the office, I love to play board games, watch and play sports, read, and visit other historic sites and museums.
