Description
After the death of Patrick Henry, Red Hill continued to grow as a working plantation under his son John’s ownership. Landholdings expanded, buildings were added, and enslaved people were purchased.
Curator Cody Youngblood will be hosting this online lecture, taking attendees through 19th century Red Hill using primary sources, historical photographs, and maps, many of which have never been seen by the public.
This event is FREE and will be held on Zoom. Registration is required.
