Join us for our Annual Home Educators’ Living History Days for children. The program is geared for children ages 8 to 10 years old, although children younger and older benefit and can participate in the hands-on experience of 18th-century life. Programs can rotate among spinning and weaving, blacksmithing, pottery, a walking tour, Colonial medicine, basket making, tin punching, and rope making.
There will two fall days of Living History offered for homeschool students: Thursday, October 7, 2021, and Friday, October 8, 2021- 8:30am until 2:00pm. Each day will have the same schedule. Families will be required to stick to the provided schedule for the day. After lunch, the Living History schedule will be complete, and your time is your own. Please feel free to walk the trails, visit the historic buildings again, or head home.
