Red
Hill, the Patrick Henry National Memorial, is supported by
tax deductible contributions from individuals who recognize
the significance of maintaining both the historic site at
Red Hill and the legacy of Patrick Henry, the Voice of American
Liberty. Formed in 1944, the Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation
was founded to establish a perpetual memorial to the life
and character of Patrick Henry, to collect and distribute
historical facts and literature and to preserve and maintain
Red Hill, the burial place and last home of Patrick Henry.
Receiving no Federal or state funding, Red Hill is sustained
by its admission fees, museum shop sales, and the generosity
of others who are determined that Patrick Henrys contributions
should be proclaimed and preserved for generations to come.
Who can cope with the Tax man? Patrick Henry
spoke these prophetic words at the 1788 Virginia Convention
on the Ratification of the United States Constitution.
